Solo Friar template (legacy)


Slight reworking of the Friar template I used in my second and third Friar videos. It's a little different from many solo Friar temps; I don't prioritize spell dmg/resist pierce but go for things like Bracer of Zo & Dark Dragon Locket (for the speed charge). I spec 50 staff, 26 rej, 39 enh, 22 parry. 

Main staffs used: Snowfall (for DPS), Astral (for defense), Ensorcelled Staff of Severity (against champions/big dehaste). 

RAs to prioritize: Purge3, IP3, ST1, LW1, MoParry3-5+, WH1-3+, MoF3, MoH. 

Key thing is to get Purge2 asap, WH1, ST1, MoParry, then get IP2-3 when you can. After that you get Purge3, then as you get more points add WH, MoH, AoM, Aug Dex1-3, MoParry, MoF3 - basically in whatever order you like. 

At 8L5 I'm running IP2, MoH8 to basically have IP3 and a big increase to all heals. At higher RR, WH becomes very powerful, as it allows all your heal procs to crit (except from items), even IP can crit.

MoPain is also not a bad route to go, I'd encourage you to experiment.
